Frequently Asked Questions
Is it OK to show up late to the walk?
We will be setting off as a group at a particular time. Please arrive prior to that in order to find the group and get settled. Follow directions to the meet up site and be sure to check this group or your email for last minute changes.
How long are the walks?
Expect to walk 60 minutes. This, of course, is dependent on the weather, the size of the group, the trail, etc. But this is a good rule of thumb for planning purposes.
Can I expect a paved path?
Some walks may not be paved. You are welcome to bring a stroller if locations are specifically stroller friendly. We will always try to vet out locations, so please check to see the trail conditions. Some walks may be more rustic and involve dirt, rocks and mud though so it's important to read over the locations well in advance.
May I bring my dog?
Please - NO dogs. As much as we all love dogs, this can add a dangerous (at worst) or annoying (at best) element to our walks. This rule may change in the future but until the group is established, please leave your pups at home.
May I bring my children?
Moms with baby strollers are welcome if the trail /park is conducive. Moms with older children, please message us (on Facebook) first so we can work out any potential issues. Note: bikes, scooters, or other riding toys cannot be accommodated.
