All women ages 13 and up are invited to join the Women’s Ministry for a time of fun and fellowship this summer as we take on the popular game of pickleball!

Details:
Who - all women ages 13 and up.
When - Tuesdays July 30-August 27 from 6:30pm-8:30pm
Where - CCOB parking lot (123 White Oak Lane); in the event of rain, the game will be moved inside to the MPR
How - Registration is requested but not required. You may just show up. Equipment is provided.
Why - to meet other CCOB women, make friends, enjoy fellowship with one another, and have fun!

Registration is requested but not required. It helps us in planning and setting up, but we’d much rather you come if you are able, even if at the last minute. Note that by registering, you are not committing to all the dates. Come when you can! Use the button below to sign up.

Note: In order to play, this form must be submitted. You may print it and bring it pre-filled or we will have copies available for you to fill out the first time you play. For players under 18, a parent/guardian’s signature is required. If you are not driving your daughter and she is under 18, please print and sign this at home and send it with her. Thank you!

FAQs
What is pickleball?
Pickleball is an easy to learn game combining tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. Pickleball allows people of all ages, athletic abilities, and skill to play together.
Where do we play?
CCOB back parking lot on Tuesday evenings.
I’ve never played. Is that okay?
Of course! Pickleball is designed for all skill, fitness and ability levels. We will have tutorials to learn as you play. The rules are simple and easy.
Who can play? Can I bring a friend?
All women, ages 13 and up, are welcome! Invite friends/family/neighbors/coworkers. A brief devotional will be shared each week at 7:30.
Do I need to bring or wear anything specific?
We have equipment, but feel free to bring your own. Bring water for yourself and wear appropriate sneakers/clothing to suit the activity.
Is registration required? What does it cost?
It is FREE! Registration is preferred but not required. Walk ups are welcome! Players under 18 need their parent’s permission.
Must I commit to all the dates?
Come when you can. The dates are July 30th, August 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th .
How long do we play?
6:30PM – 8:30PM. Players rotate with plenty of rest opportunities. Need to come late/leave early? No problem! Please try to be present for the halftime devotion.
I am unsure or just want to watch/fellowship. Is that okay?
Yes, it is! Feel free to come out and watch before jumping in - bring a chair!
Is there childcare provided?
There is no childcare available.
What if it rains?
Rain won’t stop us! We will move into the CCOB Fellowship Hall if needed.
